Oakland Airport Renews Advertising Agreement with Oakland Roots Sports Club​

OAK will once again be the Official Airport of Oakland Roots for 2024 season

Oakland, Calif. – February 6, 2024: San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK) has announced the renewal of its advertisement agreement with Oakland Roots Sports Club for the professional soccer team’s 2024 season. This will be the second year that OAK will hold the designation as the Official Airport of Oakland Roots.

“We’re very pleased to renew our advertising agreement with Oakland Roots Sports Cub. The season-long campaign works well to create awareness of OAK, the flights offered at the airport, and the services we provide.” said Craig Simon, Interim Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland. “We also look forward to welcoming the team, coaches, staff and soccer fans as they Fly the East Bay Way at OAK throughout the year.”

The promotional agreement between the Airport and Oakland Roots will include in-stadium and digital advertising. Additionally, the airport’s “I FLY OAK” logo will be placed on the sleeve of all Oakland Roots 2024 USL Championship Jerseys.
