This week, San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport is celebrating the opening of its new restaurant, the OAK Clubhouse. The restaurant is located in OAK’s Terminal 1, adjacent to Gate 6. In addition to full-service dining, passengers also have the option to place their quick orders on-the-go via kiosk or QR code.

State’s First “Hush House” Expected to Reduce Maintenance Noise
Oakland International Airport will test California’s first “hush house,” designed to reduce noise from engine maintenance by 15 to 18 decibels, between midnight Sunday and 2 a.m. Monday. Two tests — one inside and one outside the structure — will be conducted for comparison purposes.
